Disaster struck Caroline and Mike in February 2025 when their established website for Cornish B&B Haelarcher Farmhouse finally caved in to an onslaught of malware that had been plaguing them for some time – with their host taking down what was left of their site until the infection was cleaned up.
Ironically it had only been a matter of hours earlier that I’d been speaking to the couple, with preliminary talks to spruce up the visuals. With that plan on the shelf, the focus now was purely to try and clean away the malware files and request that Ionos flick the switch and bring us live again.
Fortunately, the content could be recovered and reinstalled on a fresh and clean WordPress installation within a few hours. So with the booking system back in action, it was time to move back to the original brief of giving the website a thoroughly well deserved facelift.

Now with a crisp and friendly identity to greet customers, the Haelarcher Farmhouse B&B can really show off it’s warm and family-friendly vibe in a style much more befitting to the building and business itself.
